I have been using my Canon EOS R100 with Dragonframe for almost a year, but my battery always died in the middle of a project. Therefore I tried finding an alternate power option for this camera, that would allow me to use Dragonframe simultaneously. There is a silicone lip on the edge of the camera that allows you to charge your camera using Canon's AC adaptor kit. I hope this helped out a fellow animator.

Glad to see you found the solution to your battery issue. Actually all the EOS cameras have an option to be powered from an external power supply. For the majority that is done in the same way as for your EOS R100, a small movable lip in the side of the battery chamber lets the wire pass out from the dummy battery to the external supply.
Different DC coupler kits exist for the various battery types. I use the ACK-E18 with DR-E18 in my EOS R10 which uses the LP-E17 battery, and the ACK-E6 with DR-E6 in the EOS R6 which uses the LP-E6NH battery.
