Since you have to ask I am guessing you are not a camera technician? So, your best bet is to call Canon for a service estimate. I'll even supply you with a number. 1 (800) 652-2666 that will get you going.

Since the part is bent it might have dameged the conductor to the LCD. I agree - service is required.
You could probably separate out an LCD problem or a sensor problem by taking an image and seeing if it was recorded on the SD card.

Or use the HDMI cable and plug the camera into an HDMI tv or monitor.
