Canon T7i 800d lcd not showing anything on screen. Please Help

Hi, so the other day my Camera fell off the tripod and bent the swivel part of the screen and now it only turns on and takes pictures because I can here the shutter move but there is no picture or light coming from the lcd. The lcd has no cracks just of course the bend swivel and some scuffs on the corner but my question is if I buy an lcd will it fix the problem or is the lcd still good and more of like a sensor problem or something bigger? Thank You for you time and for hearing me out.

Since you have to ask I am guessing you are not a camera technician?  So, your best bet is to call Canon for a service estimate.  I'll even supply you with a  number. 1 (800) 652-2666 that will get you going.

Welcome to the forum Angelg2091

Since the part is bent it might have dameged the conductor to the LCD. I agree - service is required.

You could probably separate out an LCD problem or a sensor problem by taking an image and seeing if it was recorded on the SD card.

Or use the HDMI cable and plug the camera into an HDMI tv or monitor.

So I used the HDMI cable and everything works except for of course the lcd idk I tried to wiggle the conductor cable around as well as disconnect and connect the lcd I even cleaned it a little bit but nothing so at this point I'm thinking it's the lcd or the condiluctor cable... I did see some magnets in the lcd panel and idk if these trigger anything? Do you know of a inexpensive place to buy lcd's?
