Canon R7 Body-Only Availability

Good Morning

I am just curious why I am being held hostage to buy the R7 kit when all I want is the body. I preordered the camera back in early June from Adorama it seems all the stores only have kits. I have one crop body and two full frame Canon cameras so I have enough lenses for now. Would like some feedback on this.

I would speculate that Canon is only [selling] camera kits with lenses due to the limited selection of RF-S lenses currently available.  I suspect Canon will continue to only sell R7 lens kits until a couple more RF-S lenses are released.
