I have a Canon EOS Elan SLR. I want to know if there is any market or trade in possibility for it

You would need to contact Canon.
Canon has a "loyalty program" -- this is typically for people who own a camera which eventually failed and would like to buy a replacement camera. The program allows customers to "trade up" their existing camera (again... usually broken) for something more current.
The program details are not published and the models available change regularly. You'd have to call Canon support to find out if your camera qualifies and also to find out what bodies are currently being offered as part of the upgrade program.
The bodies offered as upgrades may be refurbished bodies (not all bodies are offered). Again, you'd have to contact Canon for the current offers and to determine if the body you currently own qualifies. It is a good way to get a particularly attractive price on a newer model camera.
