Canon EOS 550D Freezes

my camera sometimes freezes and then can't be turned off. then i remove the battery and then it won't turn on

i tried many ways like selecting into the P mode and then holding the shutter button for 15 sec and still doesnt work.

the only thing that worked is i leave it 24 hour by removing the battery and the memory card and also the lense

Have you tried with a different memory card and lens to rule out those items.
