Hello All, I have an issue with my 6d. It was working just fine and all the sudden started doing this strange thing mid session. Do I need to send it in to Canon to be fixed???

You've got a stuck shutter blade. This is a mechanical issue.
You should contact Canon and arrange to have the camera sent in for service.

The mirror cycles down only if you choose the Quick focus mode (uses the non-live view AF)
