Canon 5D Mark iV and LP-E6 battery

I have bought a new Canon 5D Mark iV and some extra batteries where included. One was a LP-E6 battery and other LP-E6N battery.

Can someone explain the differences and if they are both compatible?

Yeah, they are. One of them (I think it's the LP-E6N) is a little more powerful and may therefore be able to go a bit longer between charges. The labels should tell you. Look for the capacity in milliampere hours (mAH).
