I’m at my wits end. I recently bought a used Canon 5D mark 2 and I noticed the top panel was damaged. So I decided to replace it. My camera was working fine for a few days, now my shutter release, mode dial, and too lcd panel are basically dead. The camera itself will power on, and I can see the live view when I put one of my lenses on. But I can’t take pictures, change the mode, or use any of the iso and AF buttons.
I’m not sure what happened. I thought maybe something got disconnected, but I’ve taken it apart and everything seems to be correct

Greetings ,
I don't have any idea about your electrical repair ability but camera disassembly / reassembly is very complex. We are also not clear of the actual condition of what you bought. Best advice camera repair shop maybe. We can't do much except speculate.
