As title say, my old Canon 5D Classic has been running into a few problems. First off everything functions correctly, lcd displays fine, shutter works, on/off switch works correctly, etc..
However my Mutli-Controller & Quick Control Dial does not work. I ordered a complete replacement rear cover ([link removed per forum guidelines]) but tried putting it on and still no go. I'm starting to think its one of the internal boards, but I have no clue which board, the quick control dial and multi-controller relies on.
I know Canon doesn't service the 5D Classic anymore, so I'm out of luck. I'm considering visting my local camera repair shop tomorrow, but I wanted to get your opinion on what could be causing this problem. Any ideas?
Thanks!
