Hello!
I bought a EOS 800D and I am very happy with it.
Today, like I do every time, I took a video and try to download it to my laptop.
The "screen" video appears on my File Explorer when reading my Canon.
Nevertheless, when the download is over, I can't open the video and the image below appears:
My question is: what's the problem?
Is it related to the camera?
Thank you for your help.

One of two most likely things are happening here, first and most likely your computer may not have the codec needed to view the file.
Second thing that might be occuring is the card or cable that connects to the computer from your camera might be bad.
For the first try searching for K-Lite codec pack, there are different ones but the basic is all you should need.
For the second try a different card (Full size, not micro with adapter), then try using a different cable if the first two don't correct the problem.
If none of these work we would need more information such as type of computer, operating system, How you are connecting the card/camera to the computer, and type and size of card (Both storage size and whether it is a full sd card, micro sd card or cf card.)

Thank to you, I checked the memory card and it appears that it was the problem.
I bought a new one and now, everything seems to work perfectly.
Thank you!
