I cannot connect my R8 to the wiFi: error message Err64.

What are you attempting to connect the camera to?
What is the desired outcome.
Canon Connect App?
EOS Utility running on your computer, etc?
Please provide as much detail as possible. If you are connecting to a router, what band(s) is it brodcasting, what security is it using.

Thank you Rick for your answer but I found the solution. Now everything is working good with my new R8 and the EOS Utility on my Mac. I can have a real time image on my screen to make some astrophoptography. Best!
