CANON 1300D manual settings not working, black screen, weird sound

My canon 1300D for manual setting isn't working. may i know why? because every time i try to use manual settings, it turns totally black and have a weird stuck sound( i don't know how to say this). do i need to send it to repair instead?

Does it work fine in automatic modes? If so, it probably does not need repair.

Just what manual mode are you setting? Does it work in P mode? Could you have mirror lock up activated?

hai. yes . it works on automatic modes. i try to google it and it already been fixed. i just twisted a bit around the lens and clean the area. suddenly it works. thanks for the reply tho !
