So funny ! My audiologist says that my hearing is fine, except for the frequencies that my wife's voice is at. She thinks it's on purpose. So... after I posted my question.... and did some more research... I found the function to turn BEEP on. Well it didn't work. But yesterday when we were photographing a wind surfer on skis, on the frozen lakes, I heard it beep. Just barely. I guess it's working, but like you, my age and hearing don't match the beep. Even my coffee pot beeps.. I seldom ever hear it but my wife always says.... "did you hear it"... No, not at all. Yet I was pouring the coffee right next to it. Just wanted to reach out and say Thank You for your response.
