Hello. I own a canon Mark IV and I noticed that by removing the battery door the camera does not work. The problem is that I would like to use a dummy battery and I cannot close the battery door because of the cable. How would you advise me to solve the problem? Thank you.

Greetings,
Look closely. There's a little rubber tab that you remove. It makes space for the cable.

I think I explained myself wrongly. I noticed that the camera does not work when the battery door is open. Is there any way to make it work even if the door is open? I have to use a dummy battery.

Unfortunately, I cannot see it. Can you help me identify it with this photo?

It's the little flap beside the battery release.
