Hi guys, can anyone help me check the authenticity of this camera, I was about to buy it yesterday but upon checking the serial number the website couldn’t verify it.

The website you are using is telling you that this camera body is intended for sale in a different market region.  IF the website you used is in YOUR market region AND this is a new camera body, then you are looking at a grey market camera that won't have a warranty from Canon.

It is an authentic Canon camera but it is being sold outside of its intended marketing channel so it won't have normal support from Canon.  If new, it should be sold at a significant discount from one sold in your market region and then only you can decide if the risk of not having a warranty is worth the discounted price.

My philosophy: When in doubt, don't.
