7D Firmware - should I upgrade it?

I've had a 7D for 1 1/2 years now and it's worked great. I am wondering if there are any advantages to upgrading the firmware or does the old adage, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" hold true here?

I upgraded mine, fairly simple process. Mainly I wanted the increased burst rate. I haven't been able to really get out and test the new features like i want to, but I haven't encountered any difficulties from the upgrade.

Rating, Raw editing and burst rate makes the firmware an ideal option. Upgrade it if you need this features

I upgraded mine to the latest firmware.  No problems.

I found it to be very useful, especially burst capability & file nameing which I do per shoot.

I just complete the upgrade and the custom file naming alone is worth it!
