6D Auto ISO caps at ISO 400 in 'A' mode w/ flash attached

Hi all!

I'm very sorry if this is a stupid question. I have searched the manuals for the camera and flash to no avail.

When the camera is in aperture priority mode, flash attached (hot shoe only, no slaves), and with ISO set to auto, it seems to cap at ISO 400. If I switch to Program Auto or take off the flash, it will go up to ISO 1600 as I've configured in the ISO speed settings in the menu.

I'm sure it's probably following a setting I've inadvertently set somewhere but I'm not sure where or what.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
