I have a 5d mark iv and I have had a problem where the exposure is off by roughly 4 stops. I can be shooting and everything is fine and then suddenly the images are way underexposed, I tried different shooting modes, manual , tv, av and it is the same. I would turn the camera off and remove the battery to see if that would reset something and that doesn’t work. Today when it happened I thought I was done shooting for the day so I turned the camera off and turned it back on about five minutes later and it worked fine. I am not sure what is happening, any help would be great. Thanks.

Try resetting the camera back to factory defaults, and contacting Canon Support directly for further assistance.
