5D mark IV focal points not displaying when taking picture

have been looking in the manual, looked online, even when i'm at the menu where you are supposed to turn it on, it won't let me. I select it where it says "off" but no option to turn it on. Please help!

As you can see from the 4th image, All(constant) is the current selection. However Disable display shows OFF and is incapable of change.  

Also when I select All (constant) (image 1) it just goes "AF point display during focus " (image 2)

when I select AF point display during focus" it just toggles back to All (Constant) (image 1). And back and fort.

I dunno.  Settings that cannot be changed are typically greyed out.  Your “Disable Display” option is not greyed out.  I suggest that you reset the camera back to factory defaults.
