It may not.  This is an oldie but a goodie.  It may be out of service.  Call Canon Support.

Thanks for the post.

The EF 17-35mm f/2.8L USM lens is no longer in service life.  It can no longer be repaired by our Factory Service Centers and replacement parts are no longer available.
