Where is the 200-400mm f/4 IS

The title says it all.
Any one know when are we going to get the official anouncment on this?

How about a version of this lens without a 1.4x extender?

Canon Rumors said they are hearing that there was an issue with the extender bump on the lens from their testers and they are trying to fix it.  No announcement until they fix the lens.  Haven't heard anything about a plain 200-400.
