The RF 18-150 is an RF lens, it does not need the eos to rf adapter. It should attach directly to the R10.

I'm hoping he doesn't have the EF-M version?

To amplify shadowsports answer, The EOS adapter does not work with EF-M lenses.

(I did not even know there was an EF-M 18-150!)

@kvbakley,
Me either till I looked it up 😆🤣

As others have noted, the RF 18-150mm lens doesn't need to be adapted. It attaches directly to the EOS R10 or R7 camera. .

This is what the RF-S 18-150mm lens looks like.

Canon also makes an EF-M 18-150mm lens that's only usable on the older Canon M-series cameras. It cannot be adapted for use on the newer R-series cameras.

This is what the EF-M 18-150mm lens looks like. (It is offered in this "graphite" version, as well as sliver finish.)

Canon never made an EF or EF-S 18-150mm lens. They did make several versions of EF-S 18-135mm. Those can be adapted for use on an R10 or R7 camera.

An EF-S 18-135mm lens looks like this.
