Hi everyone, I'm new to photography (classes pending) and I'm new here so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place. I've got a Canon EOS 350D/Digital Rebel XT. Someone gave me a Tamron 672D AF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 LD Tele Macro Lens Canon EF EOS. The camera has an EF/EF-S lens mount and I thought the lens was EF, but it doesn't even come close to fitting. Is there an adapter I can get or do I just take a free lens I can't use in stride?

Most of the Dodd Camera stores have a nice selection of quality used gear. I'm guessing as long as the lens you have is working, they will give you a trade in discount on a Canon new or used lens.

The Tamron lens has a Minolta mount (same as Sony Alpha), not a Nikon mount. The lens contact on Nikon lenses are different.
