I recently dropped my 24-70mmL lens. The glass is fine, but the barrel has a chip in it. It's extremely difficult to attach/detach the lens from the body. Canon does not repair this model. Any reccomendations on where to have this repaired? TIA!

You have the first model? I can't imagine the second model is not serviceable. Any dropped lens or camera needs to make sure it is still in good alignment. The mount may not be the only thing that needs service.
