When I zoom out (going from 200 to 800) with my lens, it is smooth but, when I zoom from (800 to 200) I get this vibration, kinda like something is too tight. This only happens with I hold the lens horizontal to the ground.I bought it back in April and I thought it just because it was new and would work its way out. Any one else with this probelem.

Contact Canon Support.
Does it vibration under all conditions? Does it matter if IS is on or off? Does it matter if the lens is actively refocusing or not?
What if the camera is turned off? Lens removed from camera?

Are you sure the adjustment ring is all the way open?
