I purchased a EOS R50 ket 4 weeks ago fro. Bestbuy that includes a RF 55-210 lens. If was great for 4 weeks but today the image started shaki g backwards and firward anx tbe lens is making a chattering noise. The other lens in the kit is fine (18-45). I suspect thd image stabalisation has died. Any suggestions welcome.

Does the issue still present when IS is turned off. Lens IS will have to be turned off in the camera menu since the lens lacks physical switches for such settings. If it still persists I would exchange the lens with a different one.

A purchase from Best Buy should have a Canon warranty. If a lens from the kit is malfunctioning, send it to Canon.

Doubtful that Best Buy would exchange it, especially being part of a kit.
