Since there are good number of knowledgeable people here, I would like to ask this question:
Has any one heard of Century lens? This is one older probably 60s and 70s tele making manual lens name that I guess has a major company behind the selling name. I am interested in the Tele-Athenar of Century. Any info?

There were a bunch of what I am going to guess the lens you question is, made way back. They may still make some for all I know or care these days.
In a word they were/are horrible compared to an “L”. Don't waste your money and don't waste it on those adapters for early lens to EF either.

Yes I know that they were mostly soft.
But very light mostly made up of 4 group or similar lens elements so very basic construction for low price tag.
But who was the real company behind them? I would thinkj one of hte major names of olden days that is no more in business now.,
