Paint suggestions to retouch the legendary EF 200mm F1.8 please

I just got my hands on one and would like to get a paint to retouch some of the body.
Any suggestions which paint will match it best?
Thanks

I recommend leaving it alone. There’s probably more to it than some paint and a brush.

The original paint is probably baked into the barrel, much like how paint is baked onto a car body.

I agree with waddizzle.  Leave it alone.  😄.  But if you can't...

You can try the canon parts department but on a discontinued lens chances are slim.  eBay is where I grabbed this image from.

Not a total repaint so a few "touch up" spots will be nice.

Indeed, it is to retouch the small areas where the paint is all gone. Cant look worse than that !

Now if I wanted to go crazy, there is this!

For anyone wondering that paint from ebay is a perfect match. My lens was incredibly clean so I only really had to retouch the knob for the tripod collar but still, very happy as now it looks even better. 😄
I thought about painting the screws (half of the screws are not original) but I may get the exact match screws first. In any case, I am storing the hood and getting a Zemlin to keep the original in good shape for any possible future sales (unlikely lol)

What good is it to own if you can't/don't use it? None, so use it and enjoy it.

Because is inconvenient with those tiny screws needing tightening vs the much better fitting Zemlin.
Also...last time I checked ..I PAID for the lens, not you so unless you want to pay for it, dont tell me how I need to use MY GEAR!
Ignoring from now on....
