Need a lens to go with an r6 or r6II. Waiting till Black Friday to see if one of them go on sale. But I do mainly ringside pro wrestling photography. I am ringside most of the time, light isn’t always the best. I’ve tried Reddit but some people can be a bit mean. 18mm with some distance capabilities would be great. $600 and below is my budget. I don’t mind refurbished. I think a lens with a 3.5 f stop with be my limit so I don’t get to much noise. I’ll buy an adapter if I need as well.

Greetings,
I think you're going to be a little challenged with that budget if lighting is low.
RF 24-105 f4-7.1
RF 24-240 f4-6.3
Canon makes a 28-70 f2.8 non L but it's about $1099
Black Friday's is coming. The Canon refurbished store will have some deals but they're going to go really fast.

I was looking at this one but someone on reddit said even though it’s a 3.5 because it’s a crop and not a full frame my quality would go down drastically. Is this true?https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/rf-s18-150mm-f3-5-6-3-is-stm
I don’t mind going to a f4 because the r6 has a pretty high iso. But is it possible?

Canon has a nice selection.

Greetings,
RF-S lenses are designed for cameras with APS-C based sensors. If you mount the lens above on the R6 or R6mkII (both of which are full frame body's) you are going to get pictures in 7.8-9.3 MP from your 20 or 24MP camera... I'm pretty sure this is not what you want. I suggest you stick with RF (native) or EF (adapted) for a full frame body. Using RF-S or EF-S lenses on a full frame body is not going to be a good combination.
If you want to use the lens above, then the R10 might be a better choice, but it is not as good in low light as the R6 or R6mkII would be.

So basically don’t look for any lens that is -s? Or the must be full frame. Got it!

theperf3ctpl3x,
If you are free to move around, an alternative might be two primes.
Canon has an RF 28mm f/2.8 lens for about $289 and an RF 50mm f/1.8 lens for about $199.
You could take a handful of shots with each.

I was thinking about this since I carry a m50 with a nifty 50. I use a harness. I just wanted to have some flexibility with zoom.

Two primes could be an alternative if you have unrestricted mobility.
Canon sells RF 28mm f/2.8 and RF 50mm f/1.8 lenses for roughly $289 and $199, respectively.
With each, you may take several shots.

Greetings ,
Primes definitely have their place, but you may miss shots moving between two cameras or multiple lenses with fixed focal lengths. Also consider that sometimes you might not be ringside. This might make capturing" off the top rope" challenging. I think your camera choices are great. Both would excel in lower light conditions, but you do need one or two good lenses to let them do their work.
