Landscape lens for Canon 80D

Greetings, I’m new to the forum. I’ve been shooting wildlife & landscapes for several years with a Rebel 100; 18-55 & a 75-300 zoom.

Recently I upgraded to a 80D and am looking for recommendations to shoot landscapes. The 80 came with a 18-135.  Research has brought up a variety of suggested lens; Canon 11-16, Canon 10-22 & a Tokina 11-16. I’m looking at used lens & would like to stay under $350. Thank for you feedback.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have come across three lens for sale on the same price range; Canon 10-18, Canon 10-22 & Sigma 10-22. Most of your comments and reviews are steering me towards the 10-18.
Since I’m developing my skills I’m not sure I will notice a difference between the 3. I believe I’m torn between the range of the 10-22 & image stabilisation of the 10-18.

The EF-S 10-18mm uses a plastic mount, which is a non-starter in my book.

The EF-S 10-22mm has an all-metal body.  It is built like a tank.  It’s the closest thing to L Series build quality on a Canon EF-S mount that you’re going to find.  It would normally list for around $600 USD when it was released.

You do not really need IS with a wide angle lens, most especially if you are focusing on distant objects.  Check any DOF table or app.  The hyperfocal distance for a 14mm lens at f/4 is probably a three feet.  That means everything farther than 3 feet will be tack sharp.

This was shot with a Rokinon 14mm T3.1 using a Rebel T5.
