Kamlan 50mm F/1.1 II Micro Single Lens Head for Canon EOS M not working on my m6 mark ii

has anyone had this issue as well. I press that shoot button but nothing happens. There are no error messages, it's on manual focus but it won't shoot and picture or videos with the lens.

Switch the camera into one of the Creative modes: P, Tv, Av, or M.  Look for a menu setting that allows the camera to fire without a lens attached.  That setting is disabled, by default.
