Is there something wrong with my canon zoom lens EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III

I was taking a couple of pictures yesterday at the full 300mm, when I noticed there were a couple of artifacts surrounding what I focused on. Look at this image for example: https://ibb.co/DrCjC5Y

Why is it kind of blurred or streaks. Its like its fading in multiple steps. Is it something wrong with my lens? Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you.

Rick be careful the link looks suspicious to me. The mods need to check it out.

There is no EXIF data with your photo, but I suspect you shot it wide open at f/5.6 as the 75-300 is known to be soft at 300mm and  f/5.6. I am not sure what you mean by "streaks", but it looks like a normal out of focus background to me.

It is very easy to post your photos directly without having to use a link. Just click on "Insert Image".

Looks very normal for that lens. That's about the best they can produce.
