I’m trying to consolidate my RF 35 f1.8 and RF 50 f1.8 into one spectacular lens.

I use an EOS R6 and have the RF 35 f1.8 and the RF 50 f1.8 and am looking to sort of ditch both. I want something much higher quality, sharper, faster, more versatile and more stops. In particular for this lens I’m going to be using it for street photography and landscapes, wouldn’t mind it to be able to be a nice portrait lens too. I’m looking at the RF 50 f1.2, RF 24-70 f2.8 so far. Any clear cut winners?

Greetings ,

As far as faster, I don't think something exists, but the RF 28-70 f2 would do a great job.

Another vote for the RF 28-70mm F2L though it is big, heavy and rather obvious for street photography. I absolutely love mine and the images have a unique character to them that simply transcends mere optical performance, which is why I chose it over the RF 24-70mm F28.L IS USM

Give that you mention landsapes and street, I wouldn't want to lose the 35mm option.  The 50mm 1.2 is a fantastic lens, but it's big and heavy, and has no IS.  Also if video is a possibility, it has terrible breathing.

The 24-70 2.8 is slower, and it's also big and heavy; but it is a fantastic lens, and has IS, and of course gives you a gret range of focal lengths.  If you want 1 lens, I would think that's the lens for you.

I second this. Keep the 35mil and forget the 50mm.
