After saying EFS 18-200 mm multiple ways, the automated operator hung up on me.
My issue is that when my lens is fully zoomed to 200mm, the focus ring can only turn one direction. At 18, the focus ring works fine. When shooting landscapes, this is a minor irritant.. When shooting wildlife or sports, uncomfortable words come to my mind that are spelled with the shift-key and the number keys. I am planning a trip this June where I'd like full use of my lens.
A. How do I get past the automated operator?
B. Is there enough time to have my lens back in working order?
