Are you saying neither of these lenses autofocus? Please explain in more detail and let us know what camera they are being mounted on. Be sure to set camera to P or Auto mode. Be sure lens switch is set to AF.

It's a Canon EOS T7.  The 75-300 lens will auto focus but the 18-55 will not.  Camera is set to p and lens is set on AF.  Lens won't work on my EOS T3i body either.

What is the FULL NAME of the 18-55mm lens. Canon has released 9 versions of that lens. The entire name is critical not just 18-55mm that’s not enough.

Do you have the opportunity to try both lenses on a different camera? You need to know what is wrong, is it the lenses or is it the camera. Since both are failing at the very same time it sure puts suspect on your camera. Not impossible but certainly improbable.

They don't work on my T3i body either.

"They don't work on my T3i body either."

Then you answered your own question. The lenses are faulty. Perhaps they got wet or dropped, left in a car trunk, etc., together.

"The 75-300 lens will auto focus but the 18-55 will not."  ??????????

i thought you said neither worked? One thing to try is a full reset of both cameras. After that set to P mode and try them again. Make sure the battery is fully charged. Again both lenses failing at the same time, "Not impossible but certainly improbable."
