hi! I was wondering if this was compatible with an EOS M50 Mark II? Thank you!

No not directly compatible it requires a mount adapter. The EF to EF-M Mount adapter which has been discontinued. Not to mention adapting EF lenses greatly decreases battery life. You’re lucky to even get 100 shots on one battery. You can get up to 300 shots with native EF-M lenses. Once you drop below 50% the fps goes down and the lens’ focusing speed also goes down drastically with adapted EF lenses. Your camera system is a dead end and it’s best to replace it with an EOS R series camera. Also who knows how long Canon will support your camera, EF-M lenses and EF lenses since they’ve been discontinued. EOS M system is obsolete and it was never intended to be permanent once the EOS R series cameras were released. You’ll have much better lens options with the EOS R Series and battery life. Not to mention future support for all of the lenses and cameras you buy.

Same person who was asking about the EF 24-70 lens a few days ago.
If you are not intending to upgrade your camera you should be looking at EF-M lenses.

It's not just a bad idea to buy that lens for a M series it is a terrible idea. You should not be buying anything M series related anymore. That should settle it.

Good answer on this version of the question.

You also started a post asking about the best lenses to buy for the M50 Mark II. You are getting similar responses minus the wedding angle.
Upgrade your camera, preferably to an R series camera body with a couple of lenses. Your current camera is not up to the task of capturing high quality indoor photos.
There are not any good lenses available for the EF-M mount to shoot weddings. Any EF lenses require a mount adapter that’s no longer available on store shelves. You would have to find a used one from somewhere.
zi am going to repeat my advice. Decline the project before you permanently damage your future reputation. The mere nature of your questions indicate that you are in over your head.
