Anyone with Sigma 50mm F1.4 on RF?

Does anyone have the Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG HSM? Any images to share?

My local store has a used one. I want to know if it has any front or back focusing issues like I hear it did on DSLRs. I have the official EF-RF adapter. I’m using R6 Mark II.

Mirrorless Cameras can’t front or back focus. Then the next thing is compatibility. Who knows if it’s compatible or not. A lot DSLR lenses are not fully compatible with all the features on the EOS R series.

Yes, I had the Sigma 50mm f1.4 and I can say it is a fantastic lens. It had no focus issues in any way. It may be and likely is the sharpest 50mil made today. I have no doubt it will work as it was intended to but it might not be able to do stuff that is was not intended to. I sold my SIgma to buy the Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens and, yes, it is not as sharp and doesn't AF as fast as the Siggy but the fast Canon is a beautiful lens and I am super happy I have it.

BTW, I did the same with my SIgma 85mm f1.4 as it was traded for the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM Lens. Again just a fantastic lens but only for those that know how to and what you are getting. I did keep the Sigma 35mm f1.4 which I believe is the sharpest lens made. My copy has incredible IQ.
