wait a while message on screen on mx492 printer while trying to scan

Hi diancto,

 

What version of Windows are you using, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10?

 

Are you using your PIXMA MX492 with a USB cable or are you using your PIXMA MX492 wirelessly?

I also get this message and cannot scan.

I am using Windows 10 and am connected by cable.
