scanner problem

i scanned a document and the image came up on my computer perfect. then i went to scan other documents after that one was complete and it still keeps loading the same image no matter what document i put in the scanner. i have turned the printer off then back on. i have disconnected the printer from my computer. nothing. still does the same thing. please tell me what to do to fix my problem. i have tried to look up my own problem and i can't seem to find any information relevant to y search.
