Hi. I just bought a Pixma MX722. I tried to install it using the wireless method, but when I got to the screen where I was to enter my WEP number, the keyboard on the printer would allow me to enter letters only...no numbers. Does anyone know how to turn on the numbers entry?
Then, I bought a cord so that I could physically connect the printer to my desktop computer (whch, unfortunately, is running Windows 8). When I connected them and turned the printer on, I got a message that the printer was detected and to wait until the installation was completed. But, before installation could complete, I got a message that the printer could not be detected. I tried going to the help section, but it applies to Win 7 and lower only...no Win 8.
I also get the following message when I start my computer: "A driver supporting Quick Menu is not installed."
I've had the printer for a week now, and I still can't print. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
