mx922 printer very slow and sometimes times out after printing half a page

MX922 printer is very slow.   Times out frequently and spits out 1/4 of a page or 1/2 of a page and then screen goes back to idle showing Standard copy at the top of screen.  Uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled but no change.  Any ideas?  Using Windows 10 and wi-fi communicatioin to printer.  

Printer worked fine until about 6 weeks ago on Windows 10 and wi-fi.   Then the slowness started and time outs started.

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or Mac OS, and which version thereof) and whether your printer talks to your computer via Wi-Fi or a USB cable.
