I upgraded to Windows 8.1 yesterday. I can't scan now. "An error has occurred in the scanner driver. Abort scanning." I installed latest drivers and continue to get this error. I am connecting wirelessly. What do I need to do?

I found a solution that enables me to scan without "scanner not connected" error message. I connected the MX860 directly to my router with an Ethernet cable and re-installed it as a wired LAN device with Win 8.1 drivers. I do not think it is possible to scan with it reliably on a Windows 10 PC if installed with a wireless LAN connection. Print, YES; scan, NO.
