mx 492 not printing color

My MX 492 printer is not printing color when I do a Nozzle check and when I try to print  a photo there is not color at all black or color help please

Hi Jmason,

 

Please replace the color ink cartridge in your PIXMA MX492 with a new, genuine Canon color ink cartridge.  Once replaced, please make sure that all of the tape and cellophane have been removed from the ink cartridge before inserting the ink cartridge into your PIXMA MX492.

unfortunately, this did not work for me don't know what's going on with this printer

If you replaced the ink cartridge and color still does not print, please perform a fwe printhead cleanings:

 

 1.  Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your PIXMA MX492

 

 2.  Press the right arrow button until [MAINTENANCE] is displayed on the LCD, and press OK

 

 3.  Press the arrow button until [Deep cleaning] is displayed, and press OK

 

 4.  After 2 or 3 cleanings, print a Nozzle Check.

 

If color still does not print, your PIXMA MX492 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

Thank you for your feed back I got a canon a new  TR 4520 now and I still have the old 492 I'm gonna continue to work on the 492 this way I'll have two to work with. Keep in touch
