ip7720 odd size paper printing

I'm having trouble printing a half-size (one half of a standard 8 1/2 x 11" sheet. I have a document formatted to that size, but I cannot get my 7720 to just print it on standard size paper. (I have a paper cutter, so just printing to standard size would work. I can't get it to change from theupper cassette to the lower cassette.

Hello rfcanon.

If the actual paper size is set to something smaller than 8.5x11 or A4, it would feed from the upper cassette tray.  Please check the printer settings to make sure that the letter size is still selected.

If you continue to have issues, please try printing the document from a different program.
