If the ink cartridge holder will not move over, please close the top of the printer, then re-open it to see if this will resolve the issue. If the cartridge holder still will not move over, please let us know if there is an error message that is displaying on the printer or your computer, as this can explain if the printer is experiencing an error condition that is preventing the cartridge holder from moving over.
