having trouble working the canon image gateway

I have a pixma Mx922 canon.  It will print using the gateway but it is blank. How do I get only to image to print out using the canon image gateway?  Do I need a Canon camera also?  I try using my iphone, the printer itself, and the desktop but it just print out white.  The printer does prints photo using the other web serices on the printer.  It prints out photo using Airprint for the iphone.  It prints out using the google cloud on the desktop.  I just can not get the canon image gateway to work.

CANON iMAGE GATEWAY is a service offered to the registered owners of select Canon digital cameras, camcorders, SELPHY compact photo printers, and Connect Station photo and video hubs.  Do you own one of these products?
