After a paper jam, in spite of clearing all the paper out, my PIXMA MX892 has stopped working and only shows an error message with the code "C000" and the message:
Printer error has occurred.
Turn off power then back on again.
If problem persists, see the manual.
Of course after powering off and on, and leaving it unplugged for a while then again powering back on, there is no change. The manual does not specify this particular code, indicating that the next step has to be a service call.
Any input would be hugely appreciated.

Hello,
Please unplug the printer one more time, and make sure there is no jammed paper in the area the ink cartridges are, or in any of the paper trays. If there are no obstructions, and the unit was unplugged for at least 10 minutes, please reach out to our technical support team at http://bit.ly/Phone_Support for further assistance.
Thanks!
