I have an IP4700 printer which I've had for a couple of years and have been delighted with. Today it suddenly stopped and came up with the error code B200.
I looked at the entries on the forum which was helpful. By using a combination of the suggestions I was able to clear the error in a couple of minutes by doing the following:
- Turned off the power supply
- Opened the cover
- Carefully dragged the cartridge carrier to the middle to enable access
- Removed all the cartridges
- Lifted the grey lever and removed the printhead
- Raised the printhead carrier gently, (about 1cm) and then reseated it
- Reinstalled the printhead, lowered the grey lever, replaced the cartridges, closed the lid and turned the power back on.
- Success.
