Yah, I know. I was stupid. I was desperate to get something printed and put canon ink into the tanks made for another type of canon printer. The colors are way off. How do I empty and clean the tanks??

Greetings,
I've only seen this situation twice and in both cases, it didn't end well for the device. Turkey baster, straws, smaller rubber tubing. A manual brake bleeder might be useful. Once the ink is removed, you can flush further, or put the correct inks through until the incorrect ink has been purged. Most people don't have the time or equipment for this.
In the end, I'd say you have a brick on your hands, but it all depends how much time and $$$ you want to spend purging, cleaning, flushing and charging the system with the correct inks. Its up to you.
