TS7720 Ink is Low and I Just Bought XL pack

I just purchased a couple of hours ago an XL pack of the colored and black/white ink.  This was $80 for both.  I have printed a handful of papers and it says it is already half way out! I thought buying the more expensive pack, I would be able to print for months! Why is it running out so fast?

Once logged in, click on your PIXMA TS7720 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support.
